The lotus is a universal symbol of Peace and Purity. The Lotus, in the Indian culture, is representative of  all the different forms of art, music, dance, drama and poetry.

The interlocking lotus petals denote the unity of all the IAECs at the CCs, representing a cohesive body to serve the educational, social and cultural needs of our people.

The logo of PA in the centre signifies the role of IAECs as a grassroots organisation under the purview of PA working closely with all other races in Singapore.

Red, an universally auspicious colour, also signifies the unity of all races in Singapore.
